Splendidly carved in the Renaissance manner with swags around the legs, these eight dining chairs include 2 with arms. Newly padded and upholstered, they are large and very comfortable.
The glossy finish is excellent on solid mahogany with exquisite detailing. Sound and strong frames are very usable on this antique furniture from about 1910.
These chairs have been expertly re-glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
Size of the two baronial armchairs is 26" wide, 23" deep, 40" tall and the seats are 20" high. The six side chairs are 21" wide and 21" deep.
