A grand sideboard, server or backbar from about 1885 has a gallery with beveled mirrors. Made of mahogany and oak with matched burl, the beautiful finish in excellent condition. There are shrinkage separations and irregularities associated with genuine burl wood, see photos.
Original mirrors have a hint of golden "smoke" and tiny losses to show their age. Drawers have original embossed brasses and tiny hand cut dovetail joints. Hand carved and raised panels are exquisite on this English antique furniture.
Dimensions are 6' wide, 29" deep, 89" tall and the base is 37" high.
