Swedish Folk Art Tina, Tine or Svepask Antique mid 1800's Box
A traditional Swedish folk art "Tina, Tine or Svepask" box was crafted by hand in the mid 1800's. Formed from a thin sheet of pine, curved to an oval and it was secured with "stitched" cane.
The lid has a wire handle and charming old staple repairs. There is wear and losses to the original hand painting on this rustic antique memento of Scandinavian culture. Size is 13" long, 8" wide and 7 1/2" tall.
