Tudor Antique Carved Sideboard Buffet

This spectacular carved sideboard or buffet in English Tudor or Renaissance style is gracefully shaped and well proportioned with a gracefully bowed front. It is signed by famous American maker, "Rockford."

Expert deep carving in mahogany is beautiful. Accented with lavish burl, there is inlaid marquetry - geometric banding and floral designs - in walnut burl, satinwood, ebony and rosewood.

The lustrous finish has warm patina and is in excellent condition everywhere, there are only very minor flaws, see photos. Embossed brasses are original. Extraordinarily well crafted in America, this is truly majestic antique furniture from about 1925.

Dimensions are 7' wide, 24" deep and 38" tall.
