Richly carved of oak in the English Tudor or Renaissance style, this 8 piece dining set includes a table with 2 draw leaves, 6 chairs and a long sideboard or buffet. The gleaming medium brown finish is impeccable, all pieces are sound and sturdy furniture.
Everything matches on this antique set from about 1925, signed "Union of Rockford, Il." Brasses are original, drawers are dovetailed and workmanship is brilliant throughout.
The table has an imposing trestle base and measures 42" wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is 24" high, and length closed is 5'2" long. The two 17" wide pull-out leaves extend a total length of 8.'
Chairs are newly padded and upholstered, seats are 19" high. The arm chair is 26" wide, 25" deep, and 44" tall, the five side chairs are 21" wide, 23" deep and 43" tall.
There is a removable silverware tray in the sideboard or buffet, which measures 5 1/2' long, 22" deep and 40" tall.
