This tall gingerbread tower clock with balconies, deer and dogs has elaborate fretwork crafted over hundreds of hours. Dated "1928," this clock is a very late example of the crafts movement that was all the rage in the late 1800's.
The signed "Sessions" clock has been cleaned and oiled, the 8 day movement keeps excellent time and strikes the hour and half. In the tower is a bell.
There are repairs and touchups to the intricate wood work, done in oak, walnut and maple with marquetry on the tower tops. The original finish is very fine.
