Victorian Antique Carved Walnut Kneeler Prie Dieu, Brass Mounts, New Upholstery

Said to be from New Orleans, a Victorian period kneeler or "prie dieu" was hand carved of solid walnut with brass mounts about 1880.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Reglued to serve another generation, the frame is strong and sturdy and has been newly upholstered.

Measurements are 21" wide, 22" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 11" high.
