The Victorians were clever with their furniture designs and created pieces like this flip top "handkerchief" game table. Simply turn the top to open and you'll have a great game night table.
- 1890s English antique furniture
- Quarter sawn oak with lion heads supporting lower shelf
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor mars & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Original brass hinges & wood knobs
- Drawer has hand cut dovetail joints
- New leather surface
- Each corner of the "handkerchief" has a carved bowl for game pieces or coins
Size when closed is 24" wide and 30.5" tall. Size when open is 45.5" wide and 30" tall.
