Someone had to invent the fainting couch, because a Victorian lady simply could not faint on the floor!
- 1860s antique American made chaise lounge or "Racamier" in French
- Hand carved mahogany
- Original crazed varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor mars, losses, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass toe caps are original
- Recent upholstery in very fine condition
Size is 78" wide, 23" deep and 35" tall. Seat is 20" deep and 16" high.
