Gracefully curved, this "cutter" or sleigh was made to push a pampered Victorian child in the winter snow.
Dating from about 1895, the back is old tufted velvet. The finish is very fine on pine, oak and birch. Under the seat is a compartment for a warmer or hot water bottle.
Size of this American antique is 34" tall, 45" long and 18" wide.
