Made for a fraternal lodge during the Victorian period about 1870, this is a true "partner's" desk, with drawers and cupboards for both partners, facing each other.
Solid walnut with chestnut and burl panels have an excellent finish, preserving lots of wear and mars for antique character especially at the base. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints on this American made furniture.
Measurements are 62" long, 35" deep and 30" tall, knee holes are 21" wide and 24" tall.
