World's Fair 1893 Chicago Victorian Oak Dresser

Lavish carving on this antique dresser or chest of drawers incorporates the 1893 Chicago World's Fair eagle, with laurel branches surmounting a globe. This is an authentic commemorative antique from that exciting era.

Solid oak furniture from the Victorian period, condition is wonderful - the golden finish is beautiful. Upper and lower drawer fronts have intricate burl panels.

Large dovetailed drawers afford loads of storage, with small "handkerchief" drawers on top. Measurements of this historic treasure are 44" wide, 22" deep and 49" tall.
