Famous English artist George Stubbs created the original "Zebra" painting in 1763, when a Cape Mountain Zebra was gifted to Queen Charlotte of England. Stubbs's mastery of capturing the zebra's likeness allowed zoologists to confirm the breed of the zebra, exhibited at Buckingham Palace.
