A walnut grand piano was signed by Aeolian for Lyon and Healy of Chicago, known as "the world's largest music store." Since the store closed, further information is unavailable, but surviving records show this serial number was made in either 1969 or 1977. The original finish is in good condition with various touchups.
This vintage musical instrument has the warm resonant tone that only better grand pianos have. The action is responsive and the soundboard is intact.
Measurements are 55" wide, 39" tall excluding the folding music desk and 60" long. There is music storage under the seat of the bench, which has been revarnished for durability. Bench size is 36" wide, 15" deep and 20 1/2" tall.
