Hand crafted for a carpenter about 1900, a solid pine and maple workbench would make a functional kitchen counter, island or wine and cheese tasting table.
The glowing finish is in excellent condition, preserving loads of antique character - stains, dings and restorations. Iron bolts secure the joints on this rugged American made furniture. There is a recessed tray to hold tools and parts. Carved wooden plugs fill holes in the top, used for vises and pegs for clamping woodworking projects.
Measurements are 64" long, 27" deep and 34 1/2" tall.
