A bed warmer from about 1850 is hand hammered copper with the bottom attached with dovetailed joints. Filled with hot coals from a fireplace, a few swishes under the covers made a cold bed much nicer.

The original handle has worn paint on this American made antique.

Size is 29" long, 8" wide and 6" tall.
