A wingback loveseat or settee from the 1920's was hand carved of solid beech in the Rococo manner, and comes from France. Cut European velvet upholstery with very little wear and a couple of spots has brass nailhead trim and is also in very fine condition.
The original finish is very well preserved on this antique furniture, and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The frame is tight and strong, and springs on the deep seat are comfortable.
Measurements are 54" wide, 26" deep, 41" tall and the seat is 17" high.
