A wall clock from about 1870 was hand carved of wormy walnut with inlaid satinwood marquetry and is in working condition.
The original finish is very well preserved, and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
There are minor mars and losses on the side of the back, see photos. The unsigned brass movement runs a week on a winding and has been professionally cleaned and oiled, counting the hour on a soft gong. The brass pendulum appears original on this antique clock from Holland.
Size is 17" wide, 30" tall and 5" deep.
