A spectacular genuine rosewood bookcase was hand crafted in England about 1870. Upper and lower shelves adjust on wooden supports, there is Georgian design grill work in the doors.
The original waxed finish is very well preserved with warm patina, there are mars, shrinkage separations from age and losses, especially around the base, see photos. Doors have working locks and minor warps from age. The upper section is a separate piece on this stately antique library furniture.
