A Victorian period "toleware" tin spice box has original hand painting, and dates from the 1850's. There is wear to the painting of this American made antique.
The handle is brass. Inside is a grater for nutmeg and cinnamon, the divided interior compartments have old repainting.
Size is 9" diameter and 5" tall, excluding the handle.
