This Victorian period secretary desk from the 1860's was hand crafted of solid walnut. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made library furniture, preserving a few mars and stains for a little antique character, see photos. There are shrinkage separations from age.
When the front is opened, it rests on pull out supports and has a working lock. Inside are tiny cubicles and a drawer for papers.
Size is 44" wide, 23" deep, 45" tall and the desktop is 30" high.
