This late Victorian or Eastlake period "slipper" bench has a lift lid and compartment to hold slippers, and was hand carved of solid walnut about 1885.
The restored finish is in excellent condition. This American made antique furniture has been reglued to serve another generation. Old genuine hand stitched needlepoint upholstery is in very fine condition.
Size is 20" long, 13" wide and 19" tall.
