A "Victor Talking Machine" or "Victrola Model VV-XIV" has a carved mahogany case. This premium floor model has nickel mounts, it plays standard old 78 rpm records very well.
Inside the lid is the original Nipper dog logo with "His Master's Voice." According to the serial number, this phonograph dates from 1914, the model ran from 1910-1921.
The top has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish is very well preserved with a few mars and some "crazing" or checking for a little antique character.
There are speed and on/off controls. Volume control is soft - both doors closed, medium - one door open, and loud - both doors open. A group of 78 records and an album are included.
Size of this American made antique furniture is 22" wide excluding the removable winding crank, 24" deep, and 48" tall when lid is closed.
