Hand carved about 1890 in the Black Forest where Germany, France and Switzerland meet, this tilt top table has many uses - hall, game, lamp or breakfast. The inlaid marquetry top includes walnut, burl, cherry and birch. The sturdy pedestal is sculpted in three dimensions.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique European furniture. There are latches to secure the table flat and upright. The top has a slight warp from age, see photos.
Measurements are 31 1/2" diameter and 30" tall.
