A charming double bench with arms was carved of solid fruitwood in the 1920's, and has been newly upholstered in European tapestry. Sometimes called a "tete a tete," or head to head, this bench allowed two people to face opposite directions and gossip, missing no action at a party.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. The graceful but sturdy frame has been reglued to serve another generation.
Measurements are 4' long, 19" deep, 21" tall and the seats are 17" high.
