A Victorian period iron strong box, treasure chest or safe from the 1870's was said to have been used by a railroad.
Traces of the original hand painted pin stripes are preserved with a new clear lacquer finish. There is a hasp where a padlock would have been used.
Size is 13" x 9" and 8" tall.
