Signed "Gunn of Grand Rapids, Mich, a pair of quarter sawn oak "lawyer's" bookcases from about 1900 have slightly different size sections, see photos.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library furniture. No maker's signature survives. Bases and tops are also separate stacking modules.
One stack has three identical section that fit books up to 10" wide and 11" tall, the other has three different stack that fit up to 9," 11" and 13" tall.
Overall size is 34 1/2" wide, 14" deep and 48 1/2" tall.
