A wonderful Empire period chest or dresser from about 1825 is solid cherry with mahogany and curly "birdseye" maple drawer fronts and classical acanthus carving. The top is single wide plank of cherry.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms.The "chimney pot" back splash is authentic.
Measurements are 49 1/2" wide tip to tip, 21" deep and 57" tall.
