A rustic carpenter's workbench from about 1890 was hand made of solid hard maple and pine, and could function as a kitchen work island or a wine and cheese tasting table.
There is a vise clamp at one end with a giant wooden screw to hold woodworking projects. Holes in the top were for pegs to clamp against. Joints have mortise and tenon joints and carved wooden pegs on this American made furniture, salvaged from a woodworking shop.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving loads of wear, stains and mars for antique character. The top is removable for easier delivery.
Dimensions are 27" wide, 97" long including the vise clamp and 34" tall.
