A tall chest from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880 has a "sidelock," which locks all the drawers with a working key. Solid walnut with burl panels, there is delicate incised carving.
The restored satiny finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Drawers have original brass ring pulls and round "pin and cove" dovetail joints of the era.
Size is 39" wide, 20" deep and 52" tall.
