From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1870, this solid birch hardwood triple bookcase has finely carved details and original wavy glass doors. The egg and dart crown is beautiful, the back is matched bead board.
The original finish is very well preserved, with a little crazing or crackling form age. American made antique library furniture, three separate banks of shelves are adjustable.
Doors have working locks, drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. This bookcase disassembles for easier delivery.
Measurements are 98" wide tip to tip, 15" deep and 78 1/2" tall.
