From the Sheraton period about 1820, this solid mahogany hall console has a flip open top that opens to a game table, supported by a gateleg with a carved wooden hinge. Fluted legs and carved corners are authentic. The top has a slight warp when closed, see photos.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on the richly grained one-board tops. American made antique furniture, delicate legs have fine proportions.
Size when closed is just over 36" wide, 18" deep and 29" tall, open size is 36" square.
