This tall lingerie chest or "semainier" with seven drawers for each day of the week from the 1930's could also serve for jewelry. Carved of mahogany and rosewood with matched panels and ebony banding, the front is gracefully curved.
No maker's signature survives on this vintage furniture from Scandinavia, embossed mounts are original.
The restored finish is in excellent condition. Drawers have dovetail joints and original brass pulls.
Size is 31" wide, 17" deep and 56" tall.
