A charming Victorian period cobalt blue hand painted china clock has a case signed "La Orne, Royal Bonn, Germany." The movement is signed "Pat. 1882, Ansonia of NY," and has been professionally cleaned and oiled. The brass movement runs a week on a winding, and counts the hour on a gong.
The case is fitted with a porcelain hand painted dial, gold plated mounts and beveled glass door. There is a scratch on the backside, see photos.
Size is 12" wide, 5" deep and 11 1/2" tall.
