An Empire period chest or dresser from about 1840 is solid cherry and poplar with curly or "birdseye" maple drawer fronts.
The restored satiny finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars on the edges for a little character. Scrollwork is authentic on this American made antique furniture. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms.
Measurements are 43" wide, 22" deep and 46" tall.
