Steinway Model M 5' 7" Polished Ebony 1927 Grand Piano, Rebuilt 1998 #32859

A renowned Steinway Model "M" grand piano was rebuilt by prominent Chicago suburban dealer, "Hendricks Piano Co.," and refinished in 1998. The included bench is newly upholstered and has storage under the seat.

The hand rubbed polished ebony finish is in very fine condition with various minor dings and touchups on this antique piano, see photos. The original natural white keys are also in very fine condition as shown.

Sound is rich and full. Rebuilt by a Steinway dealer, this is basically a new musical instrument in a 1922 case, conserving the superior wood and construction of an antique instrument. The original soundboard and pinblock are preserved in very fine condition. Rebuilding and refinishing cost in excess of $20,000, a new Model M is over $63,000 today.

Piano dimensions are 58" wide, 5' 7" long and 39" tall with the wing closed.
