A large Victorian period original oil painting from the 1890's depicts a river scene with a bridge, signed "Lazar." The bold brushwork is beautiful on this antique farmhouse work of art. There is a tiny repair on the back of the canvas, see photos.
The original lavish burnished gold frame is deeply sculpted with a little wear and touchup and the canvas has a little waviness from age.
Overall size is 44" wide, 33" tall and 2 1/2" deep.
