An Art Deco period dining set from the late 1930s includes a table with a "butterfly" leaf and six chairs, all newly upholstered. Crafted of walnut and matched mahogany with inlaid banding, this set is American made.
The restored finish is in excellent condition throughout. All frames are re-glued to serve another generation. No maker's signature survives.
Table measurements are 40" wide, 30 1/2" tall and legroom is 26." Length when closed is 60", with the 12" leaf flipped open into place, overall length is 72." The arm chair is 24" wide, 21" deep, 37" tall, seat is 19" high. Five side chairs are 19" wide, 20" deep, and 36" tall.
