- Quarter sawn oak with carved detailing
- Original heavily crazed finish in good condition, preserving dings, mars, losses, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Color variations from age, drop down surface and interior are lighter/ desk area & drop front are lighter
- Brass hardware is original
- Working lock and key
- Beveled mirror has "smoke" for antique character
- Bookcase door is all wavy glass
