This traditional Chinese carved storage chest or trunk is deeply hand carved, and could be a coffee table as well, possibly with a glass top if desired.
- Vintage 1950s Asian furniture
- Carved of Asian elm & camphor interior that resists insects like cedar wood
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass hardware is original
- Latch removed for safety & is included, no key
Size is 33.5" wide, 17" deep and 18.5" tall.
