A late Georgian corner cupboard was hand crafted of pine about 1820. The old finish is very fine and has warm patina and preserves lots of stains, losses and dings for antique character.
Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Doors have pegged joints and glass panes of various ages, some are old and wavy. Inside are grooves to display plates.
There are restorations over the centuries, especially to the crown and base. Raised panels and fluted pilasters are authentic. The rough hewn back retains some original square cut nails. American made furniture from the East Coast, the upper section is a separate piece for easier moving.
Measurements are 92" tall, 50" across the crown tip to tip, and sides are 38" from the corner of the room to the most forward tip of the crown.
