A bronze sculpture of a standing lion is signed by famed French artist, Thomas Francois Cartier, who lived 1870-1943. The exact age of this work of art is unknown.
Finely detailed and very naturalistic, this dramatic statue has deep rich patina. Cartier was born in Marseilles and died in Paris, he won the Gold Medal at the Salon in 1927.
SIze of the statue is 20" long, 9" wide and 17" tall.
