Baroque Monumental Carved Mahogany King Size Bed, Ring Canopy

A spectacular Baroque style king size bed was carved of solid mahogany about 10 years ago. This custom made designer furniture cost $35,000 and has no maker's signature. There are oak and elm parquet burl panels, the original finish is in superb condition, and was subtly distressed to look "antique."

There are delicate hand painted dark gold accents on this monumental furniture. The wrought iron oval canopy ring and bracket mounts have a mottled dark bronze finish, and are a single piece measuring 7' by 7' 9."

Carved finials are removable for easier delivery. Headboard dimensions are 7' 4" wide and 7' 3" tall without the finials, so careful measurements are needed to assure delivery. Interior size is 81" by 84," so a standard king size mattress fits nicely. Original cross supports with center legs are included.

Overall size when assembled is 8' 2" long, 7' 4" wide and 8' 4" tall.
