Signed and numbered by famous maker "Beacon Hill Collection," this classic Georgian design breakfront bookcase or china cabinet from the 1940's is mahogany with inlaid satinwood and ebony banding.
Deep and lustrous, the finish is in very fine condition with warm patina, enhancing the sophisticated banding and matched flame grain panels. The carved pediment and curved lower doors are graceful on this elegant American made vintage furniture. Grillwork on upper doors is authentic with slightly convex individual panes. Dovetailed drawers have solid mahogany sides and hardware is original.
Three convenient pull out shelves have tooled leather inserts. Locks work and upper shelves have grooves for plate display. Interior shelves are adjustable and the upper section is separate for easier moving.
Measurements are 69" wide, 18" deep and 8' tall.
