Carved French 1900 Antique Queen or Full Size Bed

Gracefully hand carved of walnut about 1900 in France, this bed has steel rails that fit a queen size mattress as shown, we will change to full size if desired.
Three dimensional crests and the spray of roses show brilliant artistry. The original finish has added clear varnish and is in very fine condition, there is some waviness in the flat panels from age shrinkage that is stable, see photos.
Original odd sized rails are included, they would require a non standard custom mattress if used. This European antique bed has been fitted with queen size steel rails and wooden slats to support a standard modern 16" thick queen size spring and mattress as shown.
Dimensions of this elegant bed are 7' 3" long, 5' 5" wide, the headboard is 5' 7" tall and the footboard is 38" high.
