Carved French Queen Size 1895 Antique Bed

Magnificently hand carved in France about 1895 this bed adapted to queen size has Walnut with matched panels.
The bed has been adapted with steel rails and mounting plates to fit a standard queen size spring and mattress as shown in photos. Bedding shown (not included) is 20" high and wood slats underneath are furnished.
The satiny finish is in excellent condition. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to preserve its antique patina. Graceful curves and exquisite detailing are beautiful.
The bed measures 66" wide, 90" long, the head board is 69" tall and the foot board is 40" high.
