We have never seen another New England Sheraton antique like this - a combination "butler's" desk and sideboard or server in glowing cherry and mahogany accented with shimmering "tiger" maple.
Entirely hand-made about 1825, the finish is excellent with wonderful warm patina and a few shrinkage separations. When the desk front is pulled out and dropped open, tiny drawers and cubicles are visible inside. Right and left are drawers with bottle dividers and matched flame mahogany fronts.
All drawers have exquisite tiny hand-cut dovetails. There are pull out shelves on the paneled ends.
Measurements of this stunning but simple Yankee antique furniture are 47" wide, 24" deep, 48" tall and the writing surface is 27" high.
