Signed on all six drawers and the back with embossed advertizing for "J & P Coats Spool Cotton" thread, this solid walnut spool cabinet from about 1890 would make a nice jewelry chest.

Drawers are "finger" dovetailed and have "press" designs and brass pumpkin knobs. American made, this antique miniature furniture was used in a general store to sell thread.

The finish is in excellent condition, there are stains and mars at the edges for character. Size is 26" wide, 20" deep and 22" tall
