An authentic 1895 era Country French marble top dresser or chest has a shaped and beveled mirror, and would make a wonderful vessel sink vanity. Hand carving in solid quarter sawn oak shows superior craftsmanship - artistic detailing, graceful curves and raised and shaped panels.
The original finish is very well preserved on this European furniture. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm honeyed patina. Embossed brass hardware is original, drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. There is a tiny chip to the marble, which has been polished and sealed to resist stains.
Measurements are 48" wide, 22" deep, 80" tall and the main surface is 36 1/2" high.
