Country French 1900 Carved Queen Size Bed

Hand carved about 1900, an authentic Country French bed has been adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown.
The original finish is very well preserved, it has glowing antique patina. Waxed and polished, it needs only an occasional wipe with a dry cloth to maintain its rich luster.
The highly detailed shell crest is especially wonderful. Expertly crafted in France, this bed has been fitted with modern steel side rails. Wooden cross slats are included, ready for a standard queen spring and mattress. Original odd size carved side rails are sent along if desired.
Dimensions are 52" wide, 22" deep, 8' 4" tall and interior depth is 16."
